Sponsorship Compliance Internship / Sports Management
Georgia State Games Commission
The Georgia State Games is looking for talented, aggressive, outgoing and innovative interns to assist in the preparation for this year's events. Internship opportunities are offered in both paid and unpaid positions depending on intern's experience & skills, time commitment, availability, academic credit and semester sought. Internships are first offered to students completing the internship for academic credit.
Dates and times for internships are flexible. All applicants must have strong writing skills and knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel. Internship offers either housing and some meal reimbursement OR a few paid stipends of up to a $1,000 semester stipends.
Full-time internships are preferred & recommended, but part-time unpaid internships are also available.

Internships Options include semester-long, full-time, part-time, weekend only & four-week compact options
-Internship program has been offered for over 24 years
-Students have come from the following US States: AK, AL, AR, CA, CT, DC, FL, GA, IA, IL, IN, KY, LA, MA, ME, MI, MS, MN, NC, ND, NJ, NY, OH, OK, PA, RI, SC, TN, TX, VA, WI and WV and from the countries of Canada, China, England, Germany and Hungary just to intern with the Georgia Games.
Internships are first offered to students completing the internship for academic credit.
-Interns have turned down the United State Olympic Committee, Professional and College programs to intern with the Georgia Games.

The Development Coordinators are responsible for researching, coordinating and soliciting small sponsorship packages, assist with large sponsorship presentations, grants and fund raising events for all aspects of the Georgia State Games and related programs.
-Establish and maintain sponsor database
-Develop and distribute Sponsors Letters of Appreciation to Sponsors, Venues and Sports Chairs
-Ensure compliance to agreements for ALL SPORTS and all areas: to include
1) Newsletter advertisements, logos, articles, listings, etc.
2) Website compliance
3) Social media compliance
-Ensure weekly contact with ALL sponsors
-Ensure daily update of contact information for all Sponsors, Venues, etc.
-Ensure photography at all events compiling comprehensive representation of sponsor branding and images
-Develop post event Sponsor recap booklets for EACH sponsor
-Ensure proper distribution of merchandise to sponsors
-Complete all other duties as assigned.
