Kenosha Kingfish Baseball Club

The Kenosha Kingfish are searching for full-time marketing interns. Full-time marketing interns will serve under the close supervision of the Corporate Service Manager. These positions help ensure all sponsorship and advertising contracts are implemented and executed successfully. Additionally, this position will have the opportunity to help the Kingfish sales staff and gain experience in the Kingfish sales department through an optional sales program.

Responsibilities Include:

-Reporting directly to the Corporate Service Manager
-Helping implement sponsorship contracts while executing game day activities
-Assisting in coordinating all on-field promotions and pre-game activities
-Helping create new and fun on-field promotions
-Assisting in attending mascot and player appearances in the community
-Helping purchase costumes or other items to coordinate with theme nights
-Developing positive relationships with fans, clients, and community members to help promote the Kenosha Kingfish
-Helping deliver marketing material in Kenosha and surrounding communities
-Assisting in running multiple contests (i.e. Bat Kid, Best Seats in the House, Little Leaguer of the Night, etc.)
-Helping with social media outlets when directed by the Director of Marketing
-Assisting or helping to ensure that the ballpark is ready and looking presentable each game day
-Sales tasks will include assisting calling on renewals and single game ticket buyers, creating surveys to gauge the fan experience, answering incoming phone calls, placing ticket orders, and delivering tickets to clients
-Ability to work non-traditional and long hours including evenings and weekends

Big Top Baseball is the largest and most successful summer collegiate baseball ownership group in the nation attracting more than 500,000 fans in 2017. BTB annually hires more than 50 interns for its Northwoods League franchises, the Madison Mallards, Green Bay Bullfrogs, Kenosha Kingfish, and Wisconsin Rapids Rafters. Each team plays 36 home games from late May through August. Internships run from mid-May through the completion of the season, near the end of August. Every summer the interns work directly with the management staff. Interviews will start in January and will continue until all positions are filled. All Interns must receive college credit for this internship OR this internship must qualify for a graduation requirement. All Interns will receive a housing & travel stipend for this internship.
