Event Intern / Sports Equipment


Position Summary:

Tactical focus on marketing event planning and execution that further build the CSG brands and directly influence sales in the NA region during the NA Sales Meeting.

Financial Responsibilities/Scope

  • Accurately update budget tracking documents prepared by the Marketing and Events Coordinator

    Key Metrics

  • Delivery of all event elements on time and within given budget
  • Manager satisfactory with assistance in hotel room block and food and beverage management
  • Manager satisfactory with assistance in flight and ground transportation management
  • Guest satisfaction of B grade or higher for NA Sales Meeting per post-event survey


    North America Sales Meeting


  • Assist with communication process with guests and dealers leading up to NA Sales Meeting
  • Organize and submit room block information to multiple properties for sleeping rooms
  • Assist in banquet event orders and tracking
  • Assist in ground transportation logistics and management
  • Contract entertainment for event evenings
  • Work in tandem with Event and Marketing Coordinator and Sr. Graphic Designer on brainstorming, securing, and organizing SWAG and uniforms for event
  • Work in tandem with Event and Marketing Coordinator and NA Demo Manager on bike reservation process


  • Assist in management of room blocks (multiple properties and over 300 sleeping rooms)
  • Assist in check-in process, including registration portal, SWAG bags, on-site store, and other print materials to be distributed to guests
  • Assist in management of ground transportation between the airport and properties
  • Assist in event app production and communication blasts
  • Work in tandem with Sr. Retail Activation Manager on event set-up and product display
  • Manage entertainment for event evenings
  • Support key stakeholders of NA Sales Meeting team as needed
  • Assist in the creation post-event survey and recap


  • Provides general assistance to Event and Marketing Coordinator and the Marketing Manager and NA Marketing Team as required
  • Follows internal controls and company policies as set by company and job function
  • Contributes to the success of company by leading or assisting with other projects and tasks as assigned including, but not limited to, smaller local event activations, and medium sized rider-focused events across the country

    Essential Qualifications

  • Candidate must be going into their Junior year or above
  • Currently enrolled in a College or University in a marketing, tourism/hospitality, communications, or related field
  • Strong desire to learn more about the benefits of events in relation to marketing and sales initiatives
  • Strong detail orientation and an ability to organize efficiently and
  • Strong project management skills
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills
  • Beneficial Qualifications
  • Demonstrated experience in the bike industry
  • Experience with Cvent

    Physical Demands

  • Must be able to lift 50lbs
  • Travel domestic about 20% of time
