Women's Lacrosse (Full-time Intern)
Gannon University, a Catholic University, invites applications for a full-time, 12-month Intern for Women's Lacrosse. Benefits include housing and a stipend. Gannon's athletic program includes 20 varsity sports, in which 18 sports compete at the NCAA Division II level. Responsibilities include assisting and supporting the head coach with planning, practice and game scheduling, and instruction and coaching of the team. Candidates must be able to support and promote the University's Mission.
Qualifications include a bachelor's degree; a valid driver's license with a good driving history; working knowledge of PSAC and NCAA regulations; and the ability to pass the NCAA recruiting test on an annual basis. Successful candidates must have collegiate-level coaching or playing experience and the ability to teach and coach lacrosse skills and strategy.
Gannon is located in the heart of downtown Erie, Pennsylvania, along the shores of Lake Erie and offers ready access to a variety of cultural and exciting seasonal activities and is within a two-hour drive of Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Buffalo.
