Administrative Assistant Intern / Amateur Sports

Special Olympics Wisconsin is currently accepting resumes for an Administrative Assistant Intern to work 20+ hours per week. This position is responsible for administrative and clerical support of the organizationís operations; including Development, Marketing, Finance and Executive staff. Projects may include:

-Draft and update documents and reports
-Send email and mail communications
-Code incoming revenue checks for the organization
-Assist with special events and projects
-Receive and direct visitors
-Answer, screen and transfer incoming phone calls
-Process incoming and outgoing mail and UPS
-Mail accounts payable checks on a weekly basis
-Assist in setting up staff meetings/retreats
-Order office supplies weekly and approve invoices
-Contact for equipment maintenance (copiers, postage meter and phones)
-Serve as liaison to Leasing Management Company for maintenance and meeting room reservations
-Manage and distribute SOWI update bi-weekly to staff
-Perform other administrative duties as needed

This is an unpaid internship which will be located at Special Olympics Wisconsinís headquarters on Madisonís east side. If your school allows for an internship credit, Special Olympics Wisconsin will work with you to provide support for that credit.
